Jeans for Gene’s Day – Friday 5th August, 2016
To raise money for the charity Jeans for Gene’s we would like all children and team to bring £1.00 to nursery to come dressed in their favourite jeans or denim! We will also be designing our own jeans, so if you would like your child to take part please bring a pair of old jeans they can decorate with sequence and sparkles!
Please could we kindly ask Parents to bring in to nursery or email a photograph of your child’s pet or favourite animal so we can use these during circle time to celebrate World Cat Day.
Play in the Sand Day – Thursday 11th August, 2016
We will be having a beach themed day in the nursery on Thursday 11th August, 2016 to celebrate Play in the Sand Day. The children and team are invited to come to nursery dressed in their beach wear and enjoy a fun day at the Stars Beach!
The second Pre-School Graduation Ceremony is due to take place on Friday, 19th August, at 3.45pm. We are very excited to see the rest of our Pre-Schoolers graduate and perform so beautifully once again. As per the previous email sent out in July regarding permission for photographs to be taken, I can confirm you will be allowed to take photographs of this special day.
Olympic Games Ceremony – Friday 26th August, 2016
To celebrate the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, we will be holding our own Olympics Ceremony on Friday 26th August 2016 at 4.00pm – 5.00pm. The children will be taking part in different Olympic Games. They will open the Ceremony with a parade with the beautiful torches and rings they have made. They will also be presenting each other with medals at the end which they will be making during August. If you would like to attend our Stars Olympic Games please confirm your attendance by emailing worcesterpark@starsdaynursery.co.uk by 19th August, 2016. Please may I remind you there is a maximum of 2 guests per child.
